Ownership, hooks, letter game

Currently, I think it's [livejournal.com profile] batyatoon's turn in the Letter Game that she, [livejournal.com profile] mnemex, and I are playing. Traditional ideas of character ownership are challenged by the structure of the Letter Game, where part of the point is that you make stuff up about other people's PCs.

So, batyatoon's PC and mine have agreed to visit an NPC that I created, but that I don't consider myself to have sole ownership of. And it's her turn. Now, I've sent her a private "here's some details I actually thought of" email, but mostly, I'm saying, "Make stuff up. Mess with my PC, and I'll roll with the results."

You might want to link to the game.

This should go away.

But for some reason, lj isn't letting me delete it, either working as me or as labcats. Probably some bug to do with the security fixes.

(reposted because I figuerd linking to the archive was better)

That impulse is one of my biggest emotional kicks out of roleplaying. IE I love making a background with some blanks, and leaving it completely up to the GM what goes there. And when he tells me. :->
