I hear podcasts now

I finally figured out how to get a podcast from the website to the laptop to the software program to the mp3 player. I decided to take the bus from 42nd to 113th in Friday evening trsaffic so I could listen to the first Sons of Kryos. It had a nice homey feel, making it just a little warmer, even when the bus doors opened to let in flipping cold air.

The bus is about the best place to do this. Subway trips aren't usually long enough, plus I read or write there. That's harder on the bus.

At home, if I want to read or write, listening to Sons of Kryos won't work. I can try when cleaning, but I fear I'd wind up tuning it out to focus on cleaning. I may have to take the city bus more often (as opposed to Greyhound or Chinatown buses, where I use dramamine, prefering being unconacous to being nauseated). And, I probably shouldn't try walking and listening to it. My street crossing pattern is already a bit degraded with my previous techie toys.

Sure thing. I listened to #2 while cleaning, and got most of it, but also confirmed that I really do need to concentrate on cleaning when I clean (at least when cleaning = going through pieces of paper and figuring out where they should go).
