I'm slowly working my way throgh Monsters and Other Childish Things, one of my Origins purchases. I also finished Pride and Prejudice today.

So, I'm looking at page 35 of Monsters, reading about how certain "normal things" can cause damage, things like "A death in the family, a shocking revelation, or a betrayal of trust".

And my mind started connecting the dots. Do you suppose Elizabeth Bennet had a monster of her very own?

(I know Emily Bronte's characters must have them. Probably Charlotte Bronte's, too. But that's Victorian, not Regency.)
