Shopping Lists
Jul. 8th, 2006 04:36 pmI'm planning to do DexCon, and
jlighton generously offered to play ferryman for anything I want that he can fit in his suitcase at GenCon.
My DexCon list:
Dictionary of Mu
Shab al-Hiri Roach (for
womzilla)
Primetime Adventures (for Lee Gold)
Worlds of Cthluhu issue #5
My GenCon List
Dictionary of Mu (if not available at DexCon)
Primetime Adventures (if not available at DexCon)
Mythic Russia for HeroQuest (Possibly more than one copy -- I think Stephen Tihor'll want to spring for one)
Anything else folks think would be up my ally that's a) coming out then or b) is already out, but I don't have? Anything new in hard copy for a|State?

Date: 2006-07-11 12:23 pm (UTC)Setting can be extracted from system. I'd not want to do that here, but it is theoretically doable.
I'm likely to post my last session write up before DexCon. Still fine tuning the post mortem. I don't think it has our overall reactions to the setting. I think it boils down to Dave is cool with it, Pamela just wants to know what to roll (which amounts to much the same), I just don't want to have to think about the mechanics in mid-game, and Julian, Beth, and Josh would want a few hacks.
Polaris is likely to be next up, though, ironically, less likely to include Josh and me because of the combination of cats and ideal player number. Theoretically, Julian, Pamela, Dave, and Dave's friend Eric would make a good group for that, but in practice, someone would need to organize it.
Me, I'd like Dave to run Sorcerer. He'd worry less about the rules, and he'd probably have the edge it's supposed to have.
