I wandered into the Compleat Strategist today to see if there was anything I needed to pick up, for values of "need" equivalent to "want". The first thing I saw was Mouse Guard, and I pounced.
Wow. I've not read it. Well, not more than the first two pages. But, I think it's going to bump the rest of my gaming queue (as opposed to my fiction queue). I haven't yet read the comic, but that's okay. It's useful to see if the game works qua game to the uninitiated.
Meanwhile, I perused the Call of Cthulhu section, fairly confident I was up to date. I mean, sure, there are a few small scenarios that I'm not picking up just yet. But, the helpful folks who work in the store and have a pretty good idea of my buying patterns pointed out that Pagan Publishing's Mysteries of Mesoamerica was in stock. Yay! Pagan's back!
*does the happy dance*
