The Centipede Thinks
Alarums & Excursions has a monthly Ignorable Theme, aka an Igtheme. In the most recent issue, it was about the kind of preparation one does before a game session.
In her zine, Lee Gold said that she hoped mnemex and I might discuss the kind of preparation we do for the larps we run. I'm starting to type about that now for my zine. I might post it here as well, if it comes out coherent enough. As I write, I'm noticing how and why our larp preparation is different from our tabletop preparation. And, as we've just come back from Intercon, I'm looking a year ahead, when we plan to run two larps, one we've run 3 times before, and which Foambrain ran a couple of times, and one we will have to write from scratch.
