Intercon F Countdown

Two weekends and a four days to Intercon F, where Straightjackets Optional -- that'scrash_mccormick, mnemex, ebartley, and me -- are running Jamais Vue and A Day at the Baths, A Day at the Races. Both games are full, and mnemex, ebartley, and I are currently working on prep.
In addition, mnemex, crash_mccormick, and I are signed up for the Buffy larp. We've dong the questionnaire. I hope we'll know who we're cast as soon, for costuming purposes, but I'm okay with being told at the last minute.
crash_mccormick and I are in Sea of Stars. I found out that I'm a sentient space ship, or the avatar of same. The entire castlist is up online, as is a huge amount of background reading. That's only fair -- we had to answer essay questions in the questionnaire. This one's a tale-telling game, and I need to beef up on storytelling. SF storytelling isn't my specialty, but maybe rereading a bit of Cordwainer Smith, and finding something in the way of tall tales for sf -- anyone got recommendations?
