Worlds Meeting

I sort of think of a subset of gamers as being quite separate from the fen I meet at sf cons. So, I did a doubletake when I saw Nathan and Elizabeth, with whom I'd gamed at Dreamation. But, it was them, and we talked gaming and fantasy fiction and the 2005 Glasgow WorldCon.

Then, on Sunday, I got my character in The Other Other All-Batman Larp. So did mnemex, but we can't even tell each other what we're cast as, which means we can't watch each other pack. Oh, I mean, we could, and we'd keep player and PC knowledge separate, but it wouldn't be as much fun as being surprised.

Note to self: ebartley and zrealm should coordinate this weekend to rent the vehicle for Intercon G.
