Singing in the larp...
I've been cast as Dolly Levi in Mike Young's Broadway musicals larp, hopefully the first of a trilogy of larps. There's a few other roles from other shows folded into her as well.
I've seen the movie (Mike's going by the movies, not by the stage productions, with one exception for one section of one show), and I've used youtube to listen to several different versions of "Hello Dolly". I'm hoping to talk folks into staging a Grand Entrance.
That said, if folks notice me humming or singing during convention games, and it's a problem -- tell me. I am not always conscious of doing this.
Now, to track down a DVD rental place so I can catch How to Succeed in Business, The Music Man (which I've seen before), and Annie Get Your Gun (saw the stage production).
